S&P/NZX 50 Closed Higher by 1.11%, Lifted by Consumer Staples

By the end of the trading session on 13 June 2024, the benchmark index S&P/NZX 50 ended higher by 1.11% and settled at 11,872.640.  Out of 11 sectors, 10 sectors closed higher along with the index.

Consumer Staples and Materials were the top-gaining sector, gaining 2.87% and 2.58% respectively in their index values. Consumer Discretionary was the top-lossing sectors, lossing 0.24% respectively in their index values. 

PaySauce Limited (NZX: NZK) and Being AI Limited (NZX: BAI) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 8.00% and 7.89% in their stock prices. On the other hand, RTO Limited (NZX: BRW) and Geneva Finance Limited (NZX: GFL) are the top-losing stocks and are declining by 25.00% and 7.14% in their stock prices.
