S&P/NZX 50 Closed Higher by 0.76%, Lifted by Communications Services

By the end of the trading session on 25 June 2024, the benchmark index S&P/NZX 50 ended higher by 0.76% and settled at 11,716.440.  Out of 11 sectors, 05 sectors closed higher along with the index.

Communications Sector and Healthcare were the top-gaining sector, gaining 1.75% and 1.30% respectively in their index values. Real Estate and Consumer Staples was the top-lossing sectors, lossing 0.86% and 0.15% respectively in their index values. 

New Talisman Gold Mines Limited (NZX: NTL) and Blis Technologies Limited (NZX: BLT) are the top-gaining stocks, gaining 18.18% and 11.76% in their stock prices. On the other hand, The Colonial Motor Company Limited (NZX: CMO) and Accordant Group Limited (NZX: AGL) are the top-losing stocks and are declining by 6.21% and 4.44% in their stock prices.
