Xero Expected to Show Strong Revenue and Profit Growth in First-Half Results

Nov 06, 2024

Analysts are optimistic about the upcoming half-year financial results for Xero Limited (NZX: XRO), expecting solid growth across key metrics. Jarden analysts project a 24.5% rise in revenue, reaching $995 million, alongside a 28% increase in underlying EBITDA to $262.3 million. Net profit is estimated at $104 million, doubling from $52.5 million in the previous year. Subscriber growth could also exceed expectations, despite the recent removal of 150,000 inactive accounts. The forecast includes an increase of 202,000 subscribers, driven by Xero’s expanding cloud accounting services. At the time of writing, the market remains keenly focused on these metrics as potential indicators of Xero’s continued growth trajectory.
