Todd Corporation looks set to divest its stake in Red Hawk Mining Ltd (NZX: RHK) following a takeover bid by Fortescue Minerals, valuing the company at A$254 million (NZ$281 million). With a 60.7% stake in Red Hawk, Todd stands to receive approximately NZ$170.6 million if shareholders approve the A$1.20 per share offer. The deal, pending more than 75% shareholder approval, marks another exit for Todd from an unsuccessful foreign venture.
