Sharesies Expands KiwiSaver Customization Options

Sharesies has enhanced its KiwiSaver offering by allowing members to combine multiple base funds instead of choosing just one. Since the scheme’s launch in November, customers had to pick from five base fund options, but now they can diversify their portfolio by allocating investments across several funds, such as Milford and Pathfinder. This feature aims to provide greater flexibility and control. Additionally, Sharesies has updated its investment plan tool, helping users craft personalized portfolios, view risk scores, and track performance. The company plans to introduce more base funds, including US self-select options, to meet the growing demand from its 8,000 KiwiSaver members. With $3 billion in funds under management, Sharesies is set to expand its presence, potentially partnering with advisers next year.
