New Talisman Goldmines Ltd (NZX: NTL) has agreed to terms for acquiring a suitable processing plant for processing ores from the Talisman Mine. NTL has paid the vendor a refundable 10% deposit to ensure the agreement for 60 days. The purchase is conditional upon NTL conducting a successful Capital Raise and a physical plant inspection by an NTL representative.
NTL has been provided with an estimated shipping time of 7-8 weeks and additional customs clearance time. The processing plant uses modular gravity separation, a significant addition to NTL's operations. With a processing capacity of 100 tons per day, it is well-equipped to handle the near-term production forecast. This feature is particularly beneficial as it ensures the plant's capacity is sufficient for NTL's needs. The company is currently in early discussions with refiners who are interested in producing more bars from the high-grade concentrate that the plant will produce.
