MYOB Group Limited's (ASX: MYO) chair, Peter James, is no longer in the running to join the board of Vista Group International Limited (NZX: VGL). James had been nominated by Vista's largest shareholder, Potentia Capital, an Australian tech investment firm. Potentia has been actively seeking to secure board seats at Vista, but the New Zealand-based cinema software company previously rejected two of their requests. On October 12, James informed Vista that he was withdrawing his consent to be appointed as a director, effectively pulling out of the nomination process.
